Acceptable Use Policy

You may use the Services for lawful business purposes, including building chatbots, automating customer conversations, integrating messaging channels, managing customer interactions, and using AI features in accordance with our policies. You must ensure your use complies with all applicable laws, the terms of any connected third-party platforms, and the rights of others.

You must not use the Services to:

• violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
• send unsolicited or unlawful communications;
• compromise the security or integrity of any system or network;
• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
• engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation; or
• generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

The following sections describe specific categories of prohibited activity.

You must not use the Services to engage in or promote any unlawful activity, including:

• distributing illegal goods or services;
• facilitating money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion;
• exploiting or endangering minors;
• human trafficking, harassment, or threats of violence; or
• any other conduct prohibited by applicable law.

You must not use the Services to send spam or unlawful messages. Specifically, you must not:

• send messages to recipients who have not provided the required consent or opt-in;
• send bulk or automated messages in violation of anti-spam laws such as the UK PECR, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, or CASL;
• omit required sender identification or opt-out mechanisms;
• harvest or purchase contact lists without a lawful basis; or
• violate the messaging policies of connected channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram.

You must not:

• access or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorisation;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system except as expressly permitted;
• circumvent authentication, rate limits, or other protective measures;
• introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code; or
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including through denial-of-service attacks.

You must not upload, share, or generate content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual-property rights of any party. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary for all content you process through the Services.

You must not use the Services to:

• impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• operate phishing, pharming, or social-engineering schemes;
• deceive end users about the nature of an interaction or the identity of the sender; or
• engage in payment fraud or deceptive commercial practices.

You must not use AI features to:

• generate disinformation, deepfakes, or deceptive synthetic media intended to mislead;
• produce content that promotes self-harm, violence, hate, or harassment;
• provide unqualified medical, legal, or financial advice presented as authoritative;
• generate sexual content involving minors or non-consensual content; or
• circumvent the safety measures of AI providers or our platform.

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing warnings, removing content, throttling usage, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting activity to law-enforcement authorities. We may act immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably believe a violation poses a risk of harm, legal liability, or security compromise.

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, or of content or activity that is abusive, illegal, or harmful, please report it to us at team@konversation.io with sufficient detail to allow us to investigate. We take reports seriously and will respond appropriately. This AUP was last updated on June 15, 2026.
