Refund Policy

Konversation's billing, cancellation, and refund practices for monthly and annual subscriptions and add-ons.

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Konversation.io subscriptions and add-ons. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected by this Policy.

1.Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Fees are stated exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added where required. A 14-day free trial is available on eligible plans and does not require payment until the trial ends.

2.Monthly Plans

Monthly plans renew automatically each month at the then-current rate until cancelled. Because monthly plans are billed for a short term and provide immediate access to the Services, monthly fees are generally non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly plan, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the following period.

3.Annual Plans

Annual plans are billed once for the full year at a discounted rate and renew automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. Annual fees are generally non-refundable once the term has begun, except as set out in Section 5 or as required by law. If you cancel an annual plan, you will retain access for the remainder of the paid term.

4.Cancellation Process

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • using the cancellation controls in your account billing settings; or
  • contacting our team at team@konversation.io with your account details.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law or expressly stated in this Policy.

5.Refund Eligibility

We may, at our discretion or where required by law, provide a refund in circumstances such as:

  • a duplicate or erroneous charge;
  • a documented, prolonged service failure attributable to us that we are unable to remedy;
  • a billing error on our part; or
  • where a statutory cooling-off or consumer-protection right applies.

To request a refund, contact team@konversation.io within a reasonable time of the charge, including your account details and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Add-ons and prepaid credits are non-refundable except where required by law.

6.Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the matter is investigated. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks we believe are invalid and to recover associated fees and amounts due.
